I found Boe Bowen and The Bowen Law Firm online and was surprised by all the reviews on facebook, avvo, facebook, and yelp. Based on my research I decided to give him a shot but was skeptical. So I set up a consultation for a flat rate of $150.00. I did not like having to pay for a meeting to see if I want to hire someone to work for me. I paid the 150.00 and right from the start I could tell Mr. Boe was the person I needed for the job. From the first meeting he was on it. He took the time to listen and understand my side of the story. He walked me through the process, including best and worst case scenarios. He did not use legal jargon or try to speak over my head. Boe made it so I could understand and make an educated decision. I like that I got to meet with a lawyer not a paralegal. Other firms had me meeting with office staff who were not able to answer my questions. These were free consultations but not worth my time. At the end of my consultation I was surprised that he did not encourage me to sign up right then and there. There was no pressure to sign up. It was little things like this that showed me he was looking out for me and not himself. Boe encouraged me to consider my course of action and made the stressful process less stressful. He gave me more than I paid for the consultation. I walked in bend over and stressed and walked out tall and confident. I was able to walk out of here feeling good and having a great idea of what was going to happen next and how my problem would work out. Boe asked insightful questions and really got to know me and my case. I hired Boe and his firm and throughout the case I was updated and kept involved. Boe was at every event before me and fully prepared. I personally appreciated that he sat with me at court and did not ditch me like the other lawyers did to their clients. Boe sat next to me on the benches and pointed out all the people and what their jobs were. Overall I found Boe to be personal, intelligent, caring, and dedicated to me. I know he has other clients and is extremely busy but he always called me back and answered my emails every time. I felt as if I was his only client and I am happy I went with Boe and his team. I have not had to hire many attorney’s in my lifetime, but when I needed someone at the last minute, I am so happy that I found The Bowen Law Firm. I may be biased, but my case was difficult and fragile to me. They listened to everything I said, and acted upon everything quickly. There was NEVER a time that I couldn’t get ahold of at least one of the attorneys on my team. Boë knows his stuff- very kind yet firm on telling me what I needed to do. Arpita was the one I was in contact with the most. It felt to me like EVERYTIME I requested something – she dropped whatever she was doing and she personally attended to it. Her and Ms. Collins even personally called me out of the blue or if I sent an emotional email … just to make sure I was ok. Even on their weekends and vacation time, they were always there for me, even on a personal level. Mr. Bowen recently assisted in a matter concerning a reposession and the subsequent damage the tow truck company did to the apartment complex while attempting to leave. I wish more firms were like The Bowen Law Firm. They are dedicated to their clients and they are straightforward. Some law firms will say whatever they can to get a client in the door, but The Bowen Law Firm is not afraid to give an honest opinion. They will tell a prospective client if there are other alternatives that may be more cost friendly and I do not hear many other firms doing this. They are also dedicated to their clients and will try their hardest to achieve the best outcome for their client, but they are also not afraid to advise the clients of the potential issues with their case. Oftentimes clients hear about only the positives of their case and are never told about the weaknesses of their case. The Bowen Law Firm is determined to give the client as much information as they can in order for the client to make an informed decision. I hope other firms see what The Bowen Law Firm is doing and take note on how to treat clients.

There are very many law firms to choose from here in Houston, but I am very glad I chose The Bowen Law firm for a consultation. My appointment was to discuss divorce and custody matters. Never would I have imagined that a lawyer would tell me to re-think my divorce decision. Mr. Bowen took his time and explained everything in detail to me, and ensured I understood all the terms. I went in for a consultation about my divorce and was very satisfied and impressed. Boë Bowen, one of the attorney’s there, spent around an hour personally going over my case with me. He even called in another attorney with a specific background in tax law to clarify one point he thought she could answer better. I wasn’t passed off to paralegals or anything of the sort. All of his advice was given in plain english, and in the end he gave me the advice to save my money and not hire them at this time! I have finally found a lawyer that listens to me. I received a lot of bad news about my matter during the consult. Boe told me the truth and was blunt. I did not like it. I went somewhere else and it went exactly as Boe said it would. The other lawyer told me what I wanted to hear and I choose wrong. He wasted my time and money. When I came back to Boe he did not say I told you so. He apologized for the other lawyer and offered to do what he could. In short Boe Bowen is fantastic. Id first like to say thank you to Mr.Bowen who not only helped me with an ongoing issue he also provided me with more than adequate information so I could better understand what my legal rights are. I was introduced to Mr.Bowen from my personal trainer at my gym who I guess finally grew tired of hearing me go on about the same challenge for nearly 3 months. I have been dealing with a rental property and the adjoining neighbor who escalated a small issue into a real challenge for me on behalf of my tenants. I can say now there is no more issue, with the renter. I then shared an unrelated ongoing challenge within my family and Mr.Bowen has assured me it is much more simple than I am making it out to be. He effectively communicated what options are really available, I wasn’t excited to hear it but I know it to be true because he showed me in black and white… At the end of the day it is comforting to have a no b.s. and diligent attorney backing me. I would gladly refer him to anyone, other than my tenants.
